Spring has arrived! And from what I can tell by social media, vacuumed packages filled with kites are arriving on the doorsteps of quite a few fliers.

As for me, for the first time in a long while, I can honestly say I don’t really have my sights set on anything new. What!? …Ha! …Who am I kidding? It’s a whole new year, warmer weather has arrived. How could I not have a mind for something new, or in my case, used?

Well, I wasn’t even looking (at the time) when last week I quickly came away with a Mega Power Sled 81 – Patriotic. Part trade, part cash. I’ve admired this one from afar – usually on the 4th of July – and have been hem-hawing on a couple 81s I’ve seen for sale over the last couple of years. Look forward to putting it into service, as there are a couple more things to lift in the Sherman household over this time last year.

Spring has arrived!

Now get out there and fly a kite!
